Thanks Internet, you are correct of course, but they may not have allowed for the increased cost of cardboard & shrink wrap... LOL.

Seriously though, the software model is compelling. Once the upfront development costs are swallowed, pushing copies out the door is a high margin operation. If your software becomes a standard, it really can happen virtually overnight.
