bobchar, Those 2 links go to "Justification Book Vol 2 of 5 and Vol 4 of 5 and show no money for 2017 and 2018. Development was completed in 2016.
It looks like congress wants the Frigate to replace the Littoral Combat Ship?
It states, "The Frigate (FF) will be a multi-mission ship that will leverage existing Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) designs, and focuses on anti-surface warfare and anti-submarine capabilities to increase lethality and survivability. The Frigate adds capability while maximizing the LCS investments made to date in the small surface combatant force..."
Not sure what to make of it. Will MKRS get business for the Frigate? Still up for debate in congress?
