in 2014 Kim stated they were having trouble running the ms on current machinery. he said if they couldn't make it work on current machinery they would need to get new custon machinery. He said that would send them back a few years.
They have since to talk about this issue. That explains why ms was shut down 2 years ago.

Well, supposedly it is better silk. You are right though. Vietnam farmers probably don't see a difference and my guess is they probably see Kraig as a threat and gmo's as a threat. Only way to overcome that is to increase the yield of the cocoons. From the third party vendor fiasco, we know DS cocoons are smaller than the cocoons they used, but the yield could be the same, less, or more. We don't know what we don't know. Only way Kim and longs like me ever succeed is if Kim makes lots and lots of silk and companies start using it to make products. He's about a year or two or more behind where he should be in terms of his own predictions for commercial production. Vietnam central govt approval is the only thing that will speed things up I think. Domestic production is not cutting it. If it was, we would see DS and MS in actual products and sales revenue coming into the company instead of just the teenie amount from the Army contract. Results matter, but the RIGHT results matter more. Girl Scouts sell cookies better than Kim sells silk at the moment. I want Kim to succeed because if he succeeeds I will hopefully succeed, but I sometimes wonder what he does all day and why we need a company vehicle when we aren't making any money. Hopefully final Vietnam approval comes soon. I'd settle for ANY news about anything right now. Going stir crazy waiting on Vietnam.
