China shouldnt move the needle that much as other non-Chinese manufacturers are way ahead of Tesla in forming alliances and building factories. ( including battery factories )
GM, Renault / Nissan, Ford, Volvo and others already have manufacturing agreements/facilities in China or are in the process.
Additionally, China has a very active domestic EV manufacturing capability. BYD already sells more EVs in a month in China than Tesla does in a year.
