Do we really know anyone is holding the stock down at this point? I'm a minor long, but afraid to bet too much based on the market cap. $200 million plus is a lot for a company with no profits, and it's lead drug dealing with Alzheimer's. Nobody seems to be able to get a handle on Alzheimer's. But...if they just have an effective treatment that would be amazing - they won't cure it. How long to get to market though? Years? How many potential pitfalls that could kill it, where the FDA says go back to the drawing board?

What happens then? All the other drugs outside of Rett are in the pre-clinical phase. The FDA pulling the rug out on Anavex 2-73 would send this stock under $1. We've seen it with other companies, like Prana. So I think people are just being very cautious.
