Speaking specifically for me . I've had days where I have bought 300k-700k shares with a total of 5.7 million.

Can't speak for others in here but I have accumulate most of the dips to get those .... so YES we are buying .

I think you are highly exaggerating. I think many here have 500k to 10 mil shares. 1 billion shares, just no.
