Ardly: If you were a town, city or state and you had 300K to spend, would you give it to your local Police Dept. or your local School Board. I prefer the latter, but these days its a toss-up. If we had smarter cops then maybe more common sense and brains would prevail over knee-jerk trained reactions. To me its a generational problem more than anything else. Sure I want more well trained law enforcers, but better paid and educated teachers would make this training need less necessary.
