And neither is VLDI hack proof. There is no such thing as hack proof security or software, must be another Bruce spin story. If someone can design it someone else will and can hack it, very simple!

If expectations is that VLDI can make hack proof security people can wait another 15 years and they will be still working on it. VLDI will never get there, all you can do is make it more difficult for hackers and more easily and quicker to detect when hacked.
