The company is currently conducting tethered tests of a one-fifth scale model Strattlite, and expects to move on to remote controlled flights later in the year.
I wonder if they know what they're saying is true or not?

This is the 3rd article or newscast about the testing, and it certainly appears that Bleckman is getting some press for Sanswire II, as he recently indicated (I believe in an email response to Mide) he was trying very hard to do. Note that GTE has avoided any appearance of promotion by having interested and neutral 3rd parties cover the news of the testing. Also, someone here or on another board indicated that it costs thousands to run a news release. If so, it's much cheaper to conduct an interview and let others publish the news. I appreciate Bleckman's efforts to get the word out, and especially if GTE is saving money and avoiding the AMEX at the same time!
