Oakes, accepting Uber will be slow to come in some location but the public pressure to allow Uber is immense. Just today, the Orlando City council approved the full usage of Uber at the Orlando Int'l Airport. Up to yesterday, Uber was only allowed in a small section of the airport. Adding insult to injury, the taxis were forced to move to the second level, and Uber takes the ground level space..

"Except that several big cities have outlawed services such as Uber because they compete with taxis and threaten the taxi token revenue those cities collect. The liberal politicians in those cities talk a green game but when unions and revenue talk, green goes to the back of the line."

Can you cite some examples of big cities outlawing Uber or Lyft? Are these the same places that outlaw tesla selling without dealerships?
