Excellent post slice....simply superb - cogent, concise, methodically thorough; and yet WS, by and large, appears to act less than enthusiastically.

Missling, for all his expert/prudent 'long-ball' orientation, needs to throw the grunts some further concrete updates, or maybe just do a better job of effectively promoting the 'Anavex story'.

Whatever....still, Bravo on your post - maybe Missling needs to offer you a position.

Jackie French, a world expert on epilepsy and a member the Anavex SAB, has said, "I am extremely impressed with the positive preclinical epilepsy data for 2-73

Much respect for Dr. French but no one is talking about the fact that results were obtained with 30-100x doses currently given to humans. Even after accounting for differing mouse/human po bioavailability the "transient headaches and dizziness, which you want to see in a CNS drug" likely to disallow therapeutic doses. Of course getting to test epilepsy in the first place will depend on success in AD or Rett so kind of a non-issue.

Other experts suggesting it deserves to be tested for AD is a pretty low bar, esp. in light of the COI.

Cogitate test needs a placebo for interpretation.

I can't believe the P300 is still put forward as a positive. The only time they actually showed the data it was WORSE than baseline. The latency was worse and is the most reliable measure. The amplitude is far less important and this degree of selective presentation of data strains the limits of purposeful data manipulation and promotion.

There is no data to date that should have anyone discussing the Cures Act.

Positive characteristics of A2-73

Discussed in past. They still need to show it does something of value.

Biogen - almost a year to run a simple test so that 2-73 MIGHT join a large library of such compounds?

Missling credentials - nothing stands out for someone in a like position.
