Only presence Zimmer has in China is via LDR for spine. That said Zimmer still has 3 manufacturing in China. Why would it need Weigao for sales or manufacturing?
Its entirely possible that they want to use Weigao network for rapid expansion of spine products. I could definitely see them leveraging Weigaos sales force and connections. Weigao can manufacture or Zimmer could via its 3 facilities but I could see why Zimmer may want to utilize Weigao for sales.
