Why does "it" have to be before August?

The thought is news of a contract(s) will hit before the open house, so I think he wants to speak to everyone in person at the open house, not on a call meaning 2Q he obviously skipped the 1st quarter CC for a reason..??!!

If I'm not wrong I believe li said the open house will be in the summer!?
