The punch bowl is at the US Patent Office site. I suggest you fill your glass there researching Ram's patents to get in the partying mood!

Welcome. Do your DD. Like any other company on the planet there are Pros and Cons to sort through.

Google "Out of band authentication patent". You will see who comes up. There are 3 patents and one international patent pending. SFOR calls it COBAS. These are the patents relating to the current 7 lawsuits, the settlement and license with MSFT (no one knows the terms of the license, can't be disclosed) and 20-30 more lawsuits potentially to come (I believe they are trying to put some of the current lawsuits to bed before moving on).

The other 5/6 patents with one international patent pending are related to keystroke encryption. This keystroke encryption goes around the kernel and therefore they consider it also to be Out Of Band. These patents are being sold by a channel partner (Cyber Security Inc. which owns Advanced Cyber Security) who has the right to purchase them (see the attachment below). Even if they take ownership of the patents, SFOR has the right to sell in the retail space under their own brands (Mobile Trust and GuardedId).

Please verify. And do your own DD.

Always IMO
