I'm going to meet my newest granddaughter in Europe next week. Since I'm scared shitlesss of flying, I'm planning on "drugging" and "drinking" it up. Your flying experience doesn't make me feel any better. :)

I haven't been to Charlotte in a while. I used to be able to fly direct from Greensboro to Chicago, but now I fly out of Raleigh.
The airlines have eliminated a lot of direct flights from smaller airports since they can use the smaller planes to get you to a hub. They could care less how long it takes for what used to be a quick flight.
