Its not a head to head thing. The problem is the pain that is not controlled by OTC or prescription meds. For mild discomfort, sure I'll pop a pill but, for stronger pain I choose the option that not only decreases the pain but aids in healing as well.

Yes, but is there enough of the population who take pills RESPONSIBLY who feel the side effects are serious enough to make a switch to a wearable device. I have yet to see a study that proves beyond a reasonable doubt that "XX%" of the population would make this switch.

Sure a wearable device with eliminate side effects, but how many responsible pill takers actually suffer side effects severe enough to consider a patch? Anyone have facts around this topic?

Stating that there is a market of 320MM people in the USA is not a fact based test around the use of pills vs. wearable device.
