China has had a huge import tax for American cars. A base model Mustang was $90,000 last year in China. Looks like Saleen was able to get around the import taxes by selling through GTA because GTA builds cars solely for China. Saleens have been Cheaper than Fords there for a while. I watch all the auto companies. Things have been changing in China lately. They are have a huge push to electric cars and offering big bucks to American Companies to go there and build electric cars. I think Saleen is gonna get paid to mass produce the Artega with electric motors.
