that idea was abandoned long time ago....they then did the shift to Hydrogen I believe. I'm talking from memory, perhaps there was another tech shift in between (I think the tech logic was like this: solar concentrator --> Natural Gas production --> Hydrogen).
I don't think details on why were given. Classic move from these people.
