Lol millions huh? People with no money manage to put something like this together and grow to sell. It's a greenhouse with floors and walls that aren't see through. Millions? Lol. The major cost in growing is the power to run the lights lol.
Also most medical MJ in the US is grown outdoors. Growing it inside in a controlled environment makes it top shelf quality. The stuff that costs twice as much as the other stuff. You've probably never stepped foot into a dispensary so you probably don't have a clue. But if you want to understand this industry, I suggest you do so. The people in dispensaries can tell you how much water each strain took to grow they know so much about it. Two grow cycles in a controlled environment is not a significant deal at all. Total cost to set up a large scale facility with all top of the line outfittings? No more than a million. Going two grow cycles and producing a consistent product with these materials in place would be simple from there. A third grow cycle once licensed would pay for pretty much everything it costed before that. Assume $10 a gram (usually $20). For high grade MJ you can get about 5oz a plant. 28.35 grams in an oz. $1417.50 a plant (at low end price of 10 grams). Takes 700 plants to get 1 million $. You think they can fit that? Also 3 months from seed to harvest. So 4 grow cycles a year. So for 1 million $ a year they only need 175 plants. Research a little bit
AGAIN..44 licensed MMJ producers already operating in Canada..26 of them in Ontario where AMS is located. The notion that AMS will generate billions in revenue each year --with all that other competition already in place-- is delusional. MMJ is a limited market and demands strict oversight and controls. More competition results in LOWER prices.. not higher. AMS does not enjoy a monopoly.
