Where did you see the 3.44mt April 2017 number for Mongolia coal exports?
If you look at post 244 on this thread, you will see that the Mongolia number seems ludicrously low if China really imported 24.78mt of coal in April 2017. That figure came from the following article (which you originally found):
Even accounting for Indonesia's month over month growth in exports, there appears to be 2.39mt of coal (via land/rail) missing. Did it come from Russia over land? Or could it be black market coal from North Korea?
Or are China's import numbers in that platts.com article off?
