Yes, the stock first goes up on news many would consider 'fluff' and then it goes down on news of a pretty exciting partnership. Clearly the market wants to hear something more, and easier to understand.

The value proposition here over the other cord-cutter wanna-bes like OTT* and MK*U needs to be very simply communicated along with more evidence that the company is actually moving forward.

The email from IR about a month ago said that a PRODUCT was anticipated in a couple of months, so maybe that is the set-top box? If so, THAT may be the news that is needed for a major stock increase. It may also be that until that set-top box is working right the partnerships with the various players for rolling out into cities may be on hold. That's not what the Dec PR implies, but we haven't heard anything about that yet.
