You loan out your shares to those "evil shorts"?? How dare you!! JK. I lock up my shares, but everyone is and should be free to choose. Shorting serves several vital purposes for markets of course, I just haven't done it. Eg, if I want to "hedge" my position, I just sell shares. K.I.S.S. is a good motto.
