I think the long-time believers have suffered fatigue and given up cheerleading.

When people get roasted for misinterpreting the dismissal of MAXD's case as a "win" that probably takes the wind out of their sales.

Unless I'm missing something, there's no evidence out there to suggest that Google is likely to fail in the IPR.

So far all I've seen for actual evidence are those dodgy post-it notes, but if they are proof of anything, they're proof that Google actively considered the value of the patent, and decided that owning it would not actually give them any legal leverage.
