Why didn't they just create one type of marker and then distribute the number of markers to preferred and common shareholders according to the 75/25 split. IMO, It would be less confusing to both types of shareholders(P's/U's).
By using different escrow#'s for each, the owner would be able to see that the amount of shares they had EQUALS the amount of escrows now held.
If a person had 100,000U shares and found out they only held 3300 escrows, it would have been totally confusing to most.
That is my most logical reason for them doing it the way it is now.
