imo, the US has won the production war. Most OPEC countries and non OPEC producers need $60+ barrel of oil cost to meet their social payments they are stuck with...like in Saudia Arabia...$68 a barrel just for the ruling family to stay in power and to keep the population in line. The US does not need prices like that to stay in business. The US oil producers are not State owned oil companies like in many countries. Yes, there will be markets to buy refined products, because, like in Mexico, their refineries are not as efficient and cannot meet demand. The future is good, imo, for US refiners, especially with the decisions to place them in the locations to produce from the lowest cost producer oil fields...Permien Basin being one of them.
