Nobody truly believes GE is involved with MVTG anymore.

You answered your own question.

This entire fiasco is just more proof of the debacle that is MVTG.

While GE is legally now party to the 5 year MVTG-Alstom contract, they do not own the syn gas ERC version patent rights, MVTG's Mantra Energy does. Turns out $MVTG does not need GE's permission to pursue the SynGas ERC improved version.

But GE is still there if we get a pilot plant grant funded before the contract expires, or if the extend it till ????, at which time they will wake up and want to be the firm that markets and sells and installs the ERCs world wide. For now it does not look like GE is going to do what Alstom was going to do, which was to fund the syn gas ERC with or with out government grants. GE's purchase of Alstom, in the end set us back 2+ years.

Right now $MVTG is pursuing grants to fund the ERC Syn-Gas plant directly, with out GE involved in the grant applications. But once a pilot plant is running and companies want to buy them world wide, $MVTG will not build or own the plants (no CAPEX needs for MVTG then) MVTG will only license the technology with an upfront fee and produced product fee of X-dollars per ton of product produced. GE, or if needed, any one of their competitors, will be happy to do the construction and installation and then world wide marketing under license from MVTG. Right now GE has still has their foot in the door.
