#16753 RE: wallstreetbuyer #16744

Interesting exchange of messages here. It shouldnt stop here otherwise that means someone keeps posting fake info.

I am no expert in finiance and thought there could be a lot of tricks to hindding some " bad" stuff.

Look for actual facts, as those contained in the SEC quarterly financial reports, rather than claims based on phony assumptions and unproven biases against previous management. The SEC is very strict about punishing companies that post fake or misleading financial information. They have to stick to what's called Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP Accounting).

In the case of Omni, they require that financials statements include the combined results of only the VitaCig company through the date of the merger (June 22, 2016) and the results of Malecon Pharmacy/Omni starting from only that date. While this is the accepted practice, it does give a distorted view of Omni's performance. Consequently, the company added a pro-forma statement within the filing in addition to the GAAP statement, that shows only the results to date of the financials of the Malecon/Omni operation for this Fiscal Year and last Fiscal Year (each fiscal year ends on April 30).

Fake info can be repeated multiple times and this is a proven way to get people to believe it.
