Taken together, the above data confirm the chaperone nature of Sig-1Rs at the ER.

The sigma-1 receptor is a "receptor chaperone". It is not a protein chaperone.

If you would finally take the time to read an entire posts or references before you respond, you would have seen where I wrote more than once it is a receptor chaperone. Not a protein chaperone.
