You are using words like "will" which implies certainty which is untrue unless you can prove so.
Also using words like "usually" doesn't help here.
My opinion is that they have a hand in the converion of shares and will come out with news now that the conversion price has been set, and they can reap benefits of getting more shares for thier money with this being the low price period. Then news comes out and the price may likley rise.
