It seems like cables, satellite's, and telco's have all been reported to be wishing to build out a national network but none can seem to part with the billions that it will take to do it. The commercial and military applications for this technology are crying out for a product and GTE is the best prospect I know for providing it, as demonstrated by the AP article.
