For the third time in two months, a federal judge has knocked down an immigration order by President Trump, which sought to withhold funding from "sanctuary cities" that don't cooperate with U.S. immigration officials.

"Today, the rule of law suffered another blow, as an unelected judge unilaterally rewrote immigration policy for our Nation," read a statement from the White House."This case is yet one more example of egregious overreach."
