So I will tackle the last question first. What are they obligated to tell? Which is a great question. They are always tinkering with new iterations. At what point do you tell shareholders how much progress has been made?

I think there is leeway enough in that dept. to do it when it benefits the company most.

JV's, partnerships, etc. are a different animal and you have 3 days if memory serves right.

As for how the company has this when others don't reflection, I believe many eyes are on the stock ... And all it will take is for someone to blink first. I have place a very serious bet (for me) not near as big as some others because I do believe the significance of the Dec. announcement was not understood properly. The fact the Dr. Lebby has chosen to become CEO of Ligtwave come Monday and is rumored to have turned down a very high ranking position in a multi-billion dollar company at nearly the same time tells me I am not alone in my optimism...

Best to each of us. I will go back to waiting patiently now.

Pit, I think this is a accurate and fair assessment. Not only fair but the views you pose here beg to be answered. I think any impartial investor, standing on the outside of this, would be thinking the same thing.

It'd be nice to have a parallel view back to other instances when companies produced ground shaking breakthroughs. What was the mood around those companies months and weeks before they did it?

My feeling is many big boys know about LWLG. They are waiting until they have confirmation. After all, what's the difference to them if they buy at 80 cents or 1.60, if it's ultimately going to be a $33+ stock? The slight loss of return is worth the reduction in risk.

We, on the other hand, need every multiple we can get.

I hope the answers we get are the ones we want to hear.

I've never sold any LWLG and don't intend to.

Pit,

I appreciate and identify with your sentiments. This is sort of where I fall in.

With the false starts of the past, I think LWLG is under a bigger "Show Me" impetus than typical. Too many people burned too many times. Perhaps we have a proto for 25G ready to rock and waiting for the change over. But would they hold it and keep it secret for months? I doubt it. However, it's possible they had it a while ago and are performing tests on it, triggering the ML to CEO move.

I want LWLG to succeed, and sooner rather than later. However, it's out of my hands. The only information I have is what everyone else has, which is minimal - at least not enough to warrant anything but the current stock price movement. At this point, I'm not 100% sure a 25G announcement would move it - people still may want to see a production plan. We won't know until we get there.

Here's to hoping that changes in the near future - my wife had moved to working only 4 days/week to be with the kids more, and I wouldn't mind doing the same ;)
