CEGX MM's making a market? So what you are saying then is almost 50% of trades today were done by MM"s that did not have shares to sell so they had to get them from another MM that had shares to sell to those without so they could cover?? OKAAAAYYY Got It?

That's MM's making a market... Those so called shorts are covered in minutes and in some cases seconds. MM's don't keep an inventory of penny stocks, so if they can't match a trade then they need to get them from another MM that has a block for sale.
