This is only the beginning. UPLD can hit $25 and get acquired around $40 realistically.
With their growth as is and acquiring revenue generating SaaS companies, not to mention all the IP they have, they are a great take over candidate.
As mentioned, I work in SF / Silicon Valley in tech, mainly advising c-levels at startups and growing companies. This is the play happening. Ideally, we'll get some closure to this sooner than later.
If not soon, I'd assume sometime in late 2017 some takeover may happen. At that point, we should see a cash settlement in our accounts. The NOLs are still in play and a big company may use that route too in order to save a bit on takes for fiscal year 2017. So, this 'might' get done in November / December. Yet, we'd love to see it happen sooner.
