Fast forward to this year, when now there is a need for a R/S (according to the financials).

Yes he stated it last year, and has also stated in 2017 too.

Yes he has repeated the statement in 2017, but I'm going to go hunt for it. I'm sure I'm not the only who has heard it stated in 2017. If they have it handy and think it's even worth their time, perhaps you may see it.
