Yeah, I've ran these calculations before as well. They add up.

I'm not too sure what the franchise tax is other than an indication that if it's paid, then Pixel has at least that much in capital to pay it.

I agree with you, these are good signs.

They may or may not actually be paying that much.

Delaware has two methods for calculating Franchise Tax; the authorized shares method and the assumed par value capital method. Delaware uses the authorized shares method to calculate the initial bill because that is the only information they have to go on. However, companies can use the assumed par value capital method if it will result in a lower tax.
