RDY2ROCK ( All )- I Maybe off base, but I recall reading where JPM was using the StrikeForce IP Enterprise Service to create a Protection Shield for their Network. Along with Sallie Mae and a few other Big names.
Of course we know StrikeForce was at the leading edge of the 2FA when companies first began pushing Cloud Sevices and Along with the increased push of regulatory bodies to mandate two factor authentication, this has really created a need for a cloud based authentication service.
FFIEC ( boy I debated that one with someone claiming "I'm a Cyber Security in a bank and SFOR is Not FFIEC ceftified and they wouldn't even consider StrikeForce") finally I Proved his claims WRONG and being false information with numerous Links showing SFOR was FFEIC Certified man these So called experts were every where late last year)
As I was saying, FFIEC for financial companies, (2) PCI and FACTA Red Flag rules for companies that handle credit cards (i.e. merchants and processors), (3) HIPPA for healthcare providers, (4) CPNI for telecom providers, (5) NERC for energy utilities/companies and (6) SOX for public companies. ALL Needed a 2FA Soulution for the Cloud and hense the Long List of SFOR Patent Infringers began.
Thankfully SFOR and ACS hooked up as the PhoneFactor Lawsuit was Won after a Markman hearing convened, and then Mommy Microsoft bailed them out with a settlement.
Announced or Not we know StrikeForce and ACS are making deep end roads and penitration in the Market in OOB MFA as seen with McAffee Products such as XDL and Intel's True Key.
Anyone one wanting to refute this SFOR IP product integration in these Belmoths Companies either 1 can't read, or two have an agenda.
Then we come to INTEL new Generation of Microprocessors incorporating MultiFactor Authenticaton, Although my Speculation of INTEL'S Flavor of choice being OOB MFA.
One has to try to figureout if INTEL would use anything else but OBB MFA if PCI mandates OOB MFA, and if that Standard is Mandated by PCI, are HIPPA and the others likely to follow suit?
INTEL is not Likey to be using StrikeForce IP in their True Key Product if they are infringing upon StrikeForce's Patents in their International Dominance in Microprocessors. Now would they ?
Would StrikeForce be changing their Hope of a Buyout soon strategy, to one of 2 years, if something of huge proportions was not in the works.
I mean come on, something big must be Cooking, and it begining to smell as good as those Fish and Steaks Cooking over an Open Campfire earlier this evening.
Perhaps it's the Fresh Air that's helping my thoughts or the Phone call one of the MidShift Crew had with in phone call with Mark last week.
1) Mark talking to a Large Institutional Investor.
2) Buyout put off for two years
3) StikeForce has another Lawsuit they are bringing forward
4) and some very big deals that are within 2 months.
Or perhaps it's a combination of Fresh Air and some R&R and Great Fresh little Tibits of Info Mark Passed on to a New Investor.
But the Rose Colored Glasses and all the Koolaid I drank this weekend makes it hard for me to read the PCI Document, about OOB could someone help me out please.
