This is standard death spiral financing.
The conversion holders are shorting up-front and then can deliver the shares they are getting to cover the short.
They getting back their money BEFORE they releasing it to the company....

And companies are going this route when they can't get normal financing, so ask yourself: If DCTH science is so good, how come only toxic financing ???
