More to the point, I think, is that evidently the results weren't good enough to convince Johns Hopkins to buy some machines. That, of course, presumes that the researchers didn't allow Johns Hopkins to know how the study was turning out.

Leaks on clinical trial results that are in a soon to be presented abstract have moved stocks before. And the SEC has expressed their concern. So the results are held close to the vest until the formal presentation where EVERYONE can react at the same time (Regulation FD of the SEC).

But, why do you care?

And if you say it is because you held stock all these years--please accept my sympathies.
