By Googling "TPG and Ropes & Gray" the following comes up, which to me clearly indicates a strong working relationship! Now with TPG owning 51% of Intel's McAfee, and Ropes & Gray representing SFOR, there is definitely an opportunity for TPG, R&G, and SFOR going forward! IMO!

The R&G M&A office enabled the consummation of the McAfee stand up between Intel & TPG. What I find fascinating is little SFOR shares the same law firm these two multi-billion dollar companies do.
