You are correct but most aren't worried about printing presses in the back room on big board stocks. That is my single most worry and it is most likely nothing to worry about I am about 40% sure they are and 60% sure there not.
I mostly vulture, there is a lot of money in failing stocks. So I have never been in a stock that has been bought out. I have watch a few and the price listed in the LOI usually sets the price of the stock. If someone where to buy icnb for $1 we would trade up to $1 in a matter of hours/days. Others may have a better explanation.
