I don't think you have read their honest S-1 filling that perfectly tackles all your argument's premises. Their strategy and roadmap is explained on their website and filings.
They have two testing one is public one is local. You are talking about the local one. Given that VR is new to the market and buggy, what they did is shrewdly understandable. Don't forget they are using SSD
I agree with you that the company has good marketing especially since VR needs it, but they are in no means compared to the lies portrayed by No Man's Sky.
You are right about it being a rushed game and being operated by a loan raises red flags for bad management.
You can't assume what they are thinking and how their direction is going. As i said, The S-1 filings and their recent press releases tackle these issues.
To conclude, this is pretty much a high risk investment and maybe a gamble. They are honest with their sayings and PR. They are progressing as expected and gaining positive appraises (till now...).
You never know what happens if it went viral. L2 is thin and float is not available
