The system is simple and the rules are simple. In order for teecee to post on a "stock" board like IDCC he needs to "not" use metaphors about sex organs and other crap.
He can say what he needs to say in a civil manner. We have other boards where we can get down and dirty if need be, like the jailhouse or the parking lot.
You see arthritis, when Matt developed this site years ago, he wanted to ensure that stock boards and their posts stayed on topic and focused as much as possible on stocks. He saw the problems of places like RB and wanted to improve upon it.
In my opinion Matt has done a wonderful job. Yes, he does have his critics who call his actions censorship, but clearly it is not. For you see you are free to express your opinion, just do it like you were talking to your grandmother. lol
In other words teecee could call whomever whatever on say the jailhouse thread, but not on the IDCC thread. The end result is that it takes focus away from the stock and facts about the stock and now concentrates on characters of the posters.
Let me address a couple of your points if I may.

Jim is a COB as such he has certain powers. He can delete posts and he can appoint two people to help him in doing the same. He can create surveys or send Chair Mails out to those who subscribe. But he can not stop people from posting, only Matt and Bob have that power. In this manner we have a more standardized and uniform approach to fairness and consistency in the application of the rules.

On stock boards I believe Matt wants quality and is not concerned over quantity. On a board like the jailhouse - he could care less and that helps in a way because people can vent there. Matt has stated he believes teecee is a valuable contributor to the IDCC board and would like to see him post there, but he must follow the rules. This isn't the Yankees and Billy Martin playing favorites.
"are you going to be a hypocrite and go for the money or are you going to help people that have life savings in a stock or some bastard that has it in to kill a stock because of reasons unknown only that he has spent 7 years hating it...do the best you can..
Let me ask you his. Do you think Raging Bull gives a shit about people/posters who lost money on a stock, and act in a manner and stop someone from posting because that person a bastard? Here you are afforded a voice and I may add your voice has been heard and already responded to by others. It is not Matt's job to make judgment calls as to whether some one is honest or not, merely to make sure that when they post they do so following the rules.
arthritis59, teecee knows all of this. He has been suspended before. This is nothing new to him. Your support of him, may be new, and I'm sure he appreciates it. If you're his friend, you might try and see if you can't convince him to follow the rules when he posts. Friends help friends.
