#110447 RE: CherryTree1 #110442

Haven't been keeping up on this the past few weeks, so this may be old news here on the board. This is from March 17th and states the parties have reached an agreement. It appears the stay was to allow them to finish the details, which appears to coincide with news. The court has restricted access to the phone conversation recording and the minutes so it cannot be viewed on the site.

JOINT STATUS REPORT
The Plaintiff and the Defendants (collectively, the “Parties”) respectfully submit this joint
status report under this Court’s March 18, 2016 Order [ECF No. 31]. In support hereof, the
Parties jointly state as follows:
1. On January 19, 2017, the Court issued an Order continuing the stay, directing the
Parties to file a Joint Status Report on March 17, 2017, and stating that the “Case will not be
STAYED beyond March 17, 2017 absent extraordinary circumstances.” [ECF No. 42]
2. The Parties have reached an agreement in principle to resolve the litigation,
together with related litigation in Delaware, and are in the process of finalizing the settlement
documentation.
3. The Parties jointly support continuation of the stay while the settlement is
finalized.
Respectfully submitted,
Dated: March 17, 2017

Could the 'extraordinary circumstances' be that LP has pointed out to the judge that some of the details are also part of the ongoing investigation and therefore cannot be made public yet?
