All those extenuating circumstances you cite serve to show the analogy is flawed. The bottom line remains that there's no proof of what you claim with regards to the RMTD ticker possessing any patent rights.
From what I can see, Vehicle IP LLC did not receive all the patents. Most of them still remained with RMTD. Even the 10KSB filed on 3/24/2008 states that Vehicle IP LLC was only assigned $500k worth of patents from Remote Dynamics which took place on Dec 3, 2005. In all, there are about 40 patents or so that were under RMTD, right? Well Vehicle IP LLC only received a nibble.
Unless there's other evidence laying around somewhere that Vehicle IP LLC was assigned more, then that's it! Just $500k worth of patents. RMTD probably used that money to pay a few bills.
