I'm not aware of any OTC stocks that are eligible for TFSA... I'm thinking that would require an uplisting to a senior exchange such as NASDAQ etc...

It is of course possible to do that eventually, but your friends would not be getting in anywhere close to these prices.

I'd rather pay the capital gains after getting in at .02 vs. not paying capital gains and buying in at $1
