I was thinking of rituximab ( rituxan) which is a humab/biologic agent used for various auto immune diseases. Apparently it has had some success against LN but not without the problems including excessive cost and toxicity I mentioned earlier. If Voclosporin is approved for this indication as I think it will be, the cost factor alone would make it the DOC over a much more expensive biologic.
