If you sell 2000 at 1.50, thats $2,993.05 and if you use that money to buy at 1.10, you get 2715 shares instead of 2000. This is on etrade at the current fee of $7/trade. If you have 2000+ shares, then even a difference of .25 is worth it. If you have 10000+ shares, then the fees are negligible and you can just buy and sell and short all you want

Several 4 and 5 decimal trades going through; likely shorts are covering. OWCP!

Even with fees and taxes the potential of the extra shares accumulated is so great it makes it worth it. If you get an extra 2k shares by selling at 1.50 and rebuying at 1.20 with the same amount of money you originally invested and the share price passes $3....$4.....$5....

It quickly becomes more than worth the tax on gains. You won't be able to get shares this cheap for long so this could me many investors last attempt at getting a larger long term position before it's too expensive.

Oh and if you sell 2000 at 1.50 for $2,993.05 and buy 2000 at 1.49 for $2,986.95, you gain 6 bucks, meaning that if you have 2000+ shares, you have absolutely nothing to lose by selling unless you sell at the rock bottom price for the day.
