No it's not but the theory continues to be the most popular excuse for underperforming OTC stocks.

So is MM manipulation really that big of an issue?

Some will call it market manipulation, while others know it simply as making a market....It is how the business of market making and good trading is conducted....Not difficult or complicated, but it can be unnerving to some.

It goes on each and every day..manipulation, naked shorting of shares and because its the otc the sec does nothing...that is reality

Several rules have been implemented for example to stop naked shorting, ReG SHO...but again the sec doesn't enforce their own rules.

THis is the wild wild west of trading

Anyopne that says it doesn't exist either has no clue about the otc or
is part of the problem.
