Pretty much I asked my finance professor (who runs a very very successful hedge fund) about the stock and more specifically about market manipulations.
He seemed to be very skeptical about the MM manipulation explaining how illegal it is to do so and how there are safeguard in effect to keep MM from price manipulating at any extreme. He also said with the rise of information, such as how we all have L2 data streaming live even though most aren't investment bankers, makes it much more transparent and less volatile.
So is MM manipulation really that big of an issue? and how/why can they still do it?
